This weekend the inside glass of our kitchen's aid oven shattered. Model KEBC147KSS06. I called Kitchen Aid today to report the incidence. Customer Service was apologetic. However, they said the model is over 10 years so it's classified as 'nothing Kitchen Aid can do...

KitchenAid - Very disappointed
After purchasing a KitchenAid dishwasher it had a faulty circuit board fried and I am very concerned about replacing the part. My house could have caught in fire. I had this dishwasher for five years. My last dishwasher was 14 years old and replaced it because I wanted stainless steel American made. Circuit board assembled in Mexico. I will replace with a different company. Just hope my convection oven, convection microwave and refrigerator last. Spent a lot of money for KitchenAid products.

Hello I have a kitchenaid oven TKESS907SS00 and I have a bracket that holds the *** to the shaft of the infinity switch. I called Kitchenaid and I will have to purchase the infinity switch for $210 dollars to for piece of metal ( bracket ) worth $0.10 (cents). I need for all 4 knobs. This is the price of a new Oven. This part is a safe hazard as well. Due to the fact that the *** is loose and slides off easily. We ( consumers) will be filing a class action lawsuit.

Potential Dangerous Knobs on KitchenAid Range
I purchased a KitchenAid Range, model KGRS205TSS5, a few years ago and the knobs are a hazard twofold. The first problem and design flaw is the position of the knobs directly above the oven vent. If the oven is used the heat from the vent melts the plastic coating...

After discussions with Kitchenaid it is evident they don't actually give a damn. I have been advised/offered the following by Kitchenaid Canada: 1.

Remove the knobs when not in use 2. Service technician acknowledges the problem but cannot do anything 3.

Purchase child-proof covers, put on/remove/put on for each use (to me this is an admission of fault) 4. A 15% rebate on replacement purchase None of the above are a solution to a serious design flaw and is deserving of further action to fix the problem (at minimum a new design and major recall).

KitchenAid - Moisture getting in control panel

KitchenAid - Moisture getting in control panel
When my wife cooks something which contains a lot of water it gets in the upper oven vent and doesn't evaporate out. It tends to run onto top of oven and then turns into steam and gets into screen a causes the oven screen to read err code F2E1 (keyboard key stuck) and then oven stops working. Once oven cools down, after setting temperature again it will work alright until the same thing happens again. Repairman contacted manufacture and they tell him to seal it, if there is a problem they should be a recall to fix the problem and not do a temporary repair that might not work at all. Photo is with top cover taken off of vent.

Very expensive over $3000.00 KitchenAid refrigerator
My KitchenAid French door bottom freezer refrigerator was purchased just a little over 3 years ago, nothing but problems ice maker never worked properly and now the freezer has died. This is such a disappointment as a consumer, that I now have to put out more money in just 3 years. Warning do your homework on KitchenAid before you purchase.

I have a $3600 5 door KitchenAid refrigerator that has had the same issues. It was repaired numerous times before the components stopped working one after the other. Now, less than 3 years after buying it (along with the over the range microwave, the range, and the dishwasher) the only thing Whirlpool/KitchenAid will do is allow me to give them an additional $1350 for a refurbished model of the same flawed design.
