We bought our house and wanted to get the best of the best...we thought was kitchenaid! So eventhough we couldn't afford it, we spent $5,000 on our appliances.

We bought the side by side refrigerator with the ice maker, the microwave with convection, a dishwasher and oven/stove. The refrigerator has been fixed 6-7 times in the 4 years we have had it, it looks like a 20 year old refrigerator at this point. The ice maker has rust all through it, which a representative I was speaking to said it is probably from leaking...why is it leaking! The freezer drawer doesn't sit right anymore, it has been taken apart so many times and a lot of the parts inside are plastic.

The oven just stopped heating last week. And the microwave has a stress crack down the center of the plastic, I can only assume its from how it hangs, how it was designed. Its a heavy door. We have someone coming out today to fix the oven, Kitchenaid is covering the parts because we are inside the 5 year window, but we are supposed to cover the trip charge and labor costs.

So aggravating. I won't buy Kitchenaid again.
