I purchased my KitchenAid dishwasher in September 2015. I have just had the technician out for the seventh time to look at my Kitchenmaid dishwasher!

it is not working again! The mother board was replaced in June 2017 and now it needs replacing again. I am beyond disappointed with this appliance. I thought I was buying a quality, made in North America product!

It keeps on breaking down!

Not only does it cost me $150 to have the technician walk through the door, I have to be available, on their schedule, for them to come to my house. The mother board is covered by warranty, however, if they keep breaking down like this, I only have another two years before that warranty expires!

I wish I had bought a Bosch!!!

Reason of review: Bad quality.

Monetary Loss: $1000.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

KitchenAid Cons: Dishwasher requiring seven service calls.

Update on my issue with a KitchenAid dishwasher:Today, the technician has just replaced the control board again. He told me there are other issues with the machine.

It is leaking and, in addition, the motor is faulty. He told me the motor is not covered by warranty and would be "very expensive" to replace. Although he replaced the faulty control panel, I was told not to use the machine, it will not work unless it has a new motor installed. This machine has already cost me $334.94 dollars in service fees and I am loath to put any more money into it. I have lost all faith in the KitchenAid name and product.I feel KitchenAid owes me compensation for the appliance and the issues I have had with such an expensive machine - the most expensive dishwasher I have ever purchased. For your information, I also bought a KitchenAid refrigerator and stove.

The fridge stopped working at Christmas time (barely two years old) and I had to have the technician out to replace a part in that appliance also. That cost me $166.95 plus the cost of the part.I truly regret these purchases and I am so frustrated by the numerous issues I have encountered. All I seem to be doing is keeping the appliance repair company in business. What does KitchenAid propose to do about my issues?

At this time I still do not have a working dishwasher.I have replied to the comment below from KitchenAid. The ball is in their court now.
