Kitchenaid oven - junk

Kitchenaid oven Model KGRS303BWHO Three weeks after receiving this oven it stopped relighting. It heats up and starts to bake. Display shows the temp which oven is set for but the internal temp starts to drop. Changed control panel 3 times. Changed ignitor 2 times Changed wiring harness. Kitchenaid does not replace an item, only fixes. Apparently they do not understand the word fix. This all happened in 2 months. Finally the company who sold me this oven decided to just give me a new one. Same problem. Kitchenaid sent someone to change the DSI board this time. Told me to get the extended warranty. Why would I put more money into this stove?

Kitchenaid dishwasher has needed service 5 times in 18 months. They wont replace.

I purchased a Kitchenaid dishwasher, model KUDS30IXSS4. Within the first year and warranty period, the dishwasher died. Service came and replaced the control panel. Since then, I have had the same problem 4 times. Clearly something is causing the control panel to go dead every few months, but the Kitchenaid repair person refuses to spend more than the 4 minutes to replace it and try to figure it out. Additionally, I have to argue with Kitchenaid every time I call because I am now out of warranty even though the problem began during warranty. They say that as long as it is repairable, they will not replace it. In other words, i have to spend a day waiting for repair every few months and live without a dishwasher for weeks at a time for the rest of my life. Completely unacceptable to not stand behind your products.

KitchenAid in Spokane, Washington - Kitchen Aid does not stand by their product!

We purchased a kitchen aid french door w bottom freezer on 9/25/12. In June I noticed that there was alot of ice build up in the back of the freezer part and the fan make a really loud noise. 6/28/13 was the first call...... 4 repair visits, new parts and multiple calls later to both Whirlpool and Freds Repair, I now have a refridgerator that makes watery ice down the inside of the refirdgerator and leaks on my wood floor. A freezer that does not freeze and a refidgerator that barely keeps food cool. As of 10/15/13 there is no part available to even try to fix this. If you want to get something that the manufacturer stands behind their product DO NOT purchace from Whirlpool.

Ashley, I'm not sure if this is a hoax or not - however, I have talked to Kitchenaid customer service a number of times and they have refused to do anything for me....not even a $100 coupon for a new one...they sent me to the sales group and they were angry that I was transferred to them - they said they are there just if someone is purchasing a new one. I said I had to purchase a new one yet still nothing to show goodwill at all.

I am looking into having my custom made cabinets reconfigured so that I do not have to repurchase a product that was custom fit for your appliance.

I have a refrigerator as well that I have had service calls on that freezes food and vegetables no matter what i do - plus a pile of ice that piles up on the bottom of the freezer. If you really want to talk to me you will leave a phone number for me to call you.

KitchenAid - Kitchen aid classic blender has *** jug

I used to have a kitchen aid blender with a glass jug it was a fantastic machine. I have had 2 classic blenders with the plastic jug and the blade in the jug loosens and liquid spills out into the blender. The bottom cannot be tightened so somehow the liquid spills into the motor eventually. This wrecks the motor. The company has not accepted responsibility. More *** kitchenware... its a shame when they used to make such quality... no better than breville and sunbeam now. I fear we are continually buying poor quality appliances, not fixing things and there is such a lot of rubbish created.

I HAVE A KDTE 254ESS SERIAL #63003607, DELIVERED TOME ON 9/16/16. THE SMALL GASKET ON THE INSIDE OF THE DOOR, AROUND THE TUBE IS VERY BADLY RUSTED, LOOKS LIKE WHEN METAL RODS IN CONCRETE CAN BE SEEN.

THIS IS THE SAME WAY RUST IS EXPANDING SO MUCH IT IS PUSHING THE RUBBER GASKET AWAY FROM THE TUB. THEY SAY IN THE WARRANTY RUST IS COVERED UP TO 5 YEARS. BUT KITCHENAIDE TELL ME NOT COSMETIC. SO I CALLED LOWES THE WILL BE HERE 3/15/19.

I HAVE BEEN HERE 40 YRS.

THIS IS THE FIRST ONE THAT HAS RUSTED. PROBABLY HAVE HAD 4 INSTALLED

Kitchenaid side by side refrigerator

I purchased a Kitchenaid 42 inch side by side refrigerator that stopped working last week. Technician discovered problem was with the main control board located in the compressor unit. Started searching the internet and discovered many other kitchenaid owners are having the same exact problem. The part is no longer manufactured by kitchenaid and has to be sent out to rebuilt; perhaps a month or more without a refrigerator. All other owners with the same problem contact me at my website: www.illinoisbusinesslawcenter.com. Looking at possible class action lawsuit. Had to buy a $500 extended warranty to cover the problem; without it cost would approach $1,000, and no coverage for spoiled food.

KitchenAid in Phoenix, Arizona - Pro line series refrigerator. loud ice maker and fill valve

We too use to think highly about Kitchen Aid. They sub repairs out to flaky people who never return calls or follow up. Refrigerator is too loud, the ice machine grinds before the dump and then the dump is a bang and then the best part is the filling is like a fireman's hose shooting out. I understand repairs, I do not understand poor service to obtain repairs. Technicians have a real attitude toward work, appears they are like government workers. They have a job but no accountability. Same on the appliance industry. advice...I should have kept My 15 year old admiral refrigerator. never a problem the whole time we owned it.
