TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND RESOLUTION OF PROBLEM!

Immediately after purchasing refrigerator the icemaker didn't work. Nearly 2 years later and 8 service calls and parts replacements (including the entire icemaker), STILL THE UNIT DOESN'T WORK. When I called last for a follow up as to what they were going to do about it, they tell me it's out of Warrranty. OF COURSE IT'S OUT OF WARRANTY!!! This problem is still ongoing and has been nearly two years!! They are non responsive with the script of 'we can only replace parts' and 'I don't see an extended warranty'. Again, this ongoing problem has NEVER been fixed or adequately addressed. Just throw more parts at it until the entire unit is defunct!?? NEVER NEVER NEVER will we ever get another Kitchen Aid! DON'T DO IT!!

Defective dish washer

Disenchanted in your Product. The Washing Machine Brand : Kitchen Aid 44 DBA,Type 567-, SER FX 1101****.

Every electric Appliance in my Kitchen is a Kitchen Aid brand .

Why ? Because your appliances used to be a durable brand . If you ask me now , surely the answer wouldnt be the same .

A couple of summers ago my Kitchen cabinets and floor was over run by Mold and water . The smell and the soaked wooden tiles came with it .

All this was the result of a Kitchen Aid Dish washer Machine pipe that busted underneath. Of course not visible to our eyes as the leak was underneath we only noticed after the water damage , damaged our kitchen floor .

The water Damage was so bad and COVID was blowing up . Kitchen was out of service our home was Tented and Barricaded by SERVPRO because the Mold was out of control .

Straight to my point , we bought another Kitchen Aid Dish washer after a whole new remodeling of our Kitchen that costed us so much money that we didnt budget for and have . To our surprise a new appliance that is barely 2 years got they some water leak again and cant be used because of fear of the damage to the floor again .

Its been a Month . You cant get to even begin to imagine how much weve been inconvenienced .

A technician was sent to obtain a machine part that broke on the 24/ 01/2022 and have not returned since . As far as I am concern the Dish Washer Machine model is defective. You cant even find parts because they are on back order !!

No ETA for part.

I am requesting for a New replacement appliance .

Trust me our warranty is still valued presently no wonder am able to have this back and forth conversation with you . Otherwise I would be treated like a nine paying consumer.

We cant keep on leaving as though the Dish washer was free .

We have been as civil as they get .

DO NOT, DO NOT Buy Products from these Company, their service people are a JOKE, long wait on the phone, always an excuse for a damn light bulb!! Totally insane, unit is only 4 months old and cant even honor to fix it the right way since is not a light bulb issue. PATHETIC!!

Not good

Wall oven malfunctioned for the 4th time on Mothers Day. Steam escapes from the top of the door and it goes under the front glass panel and into the fuse area resulting in a blown fuse. The oven then shuts down. And just FYI our microwave had to be replaced, the dishwasher had to be repaired because a rusty film that covered the interior. We bought these all in 2016 but wall oven is what I am concerned with now. There must be an engineering flaw with the wall oven that allows steam to escape when the door is shut.

I purchased a Stand Mixer on August 30, 2021. Noticed the housing paint fell off due to a painting defect. Would offer Zero stars when it comes to quality and value. Noticed paint came off, two months after being purchased, and having only used it a couple of times, they will not replace it after 30-days even if it is their paint defect. Terribly disappointing service for such an expensive appliance. They cannot even offer you a touch-up paint cover-up. It is a very expensive appliance for them to not offer anything to assist with this. Unimpressed with Kitchenaid's product and was truly disappointed in the service. I will steer clear in the future and would never recommend it to any of my contacts due to the experience.

Finally got to Best Buy service via phone call. Service rep knew we were covered and scheduled a service rep the very next morning. Service rep fixed the problem efficiently and in a friendly manner.

4 out of 4 kitchen Aid appl. Needed unusal repair or repcement

My wall oven has malfunctioned on Mothers Day for the 3rd time in the last 2 1/2 years and I do not use it all that often as it is just my husband and myself here. They replaced the oven fuse 2 times already. I believe there is an engineering flaw in the top oven because while using the oven steam escapes from the top right near the fuse area. You can even see where the glass on the front panel has been affected on the inside by the streaming of the steam upwards.

Kitchenaid would not honor the warranty because I lost my receipt. My dishwasher was brand new and the dryer element needed to be replaced. I used it a total of 4 times before needing repair.

Horrible Customer Service!! Poor product. They had all information about where and when I bought the dishwasher but wouldnt stand behind my warranty because I lost my receipt. Absolutely no representative except by texting. I will never by another Kitchenaid product!

Double ovens stopped working after 4 years

I waited to post something on this website so that I could be more percise with my information rather than emotional. My KITCHEN AID double ovens quit working in the midst of my Christmas dinner 2021.

I purchased the double wall oven in early 2017 along with several other Kitchen Aid appliances for the remodel of our kitchen.

The double ovens cost me $4K. At this point, the refrigerator, the wall ovens and the dishwasher have all needed to be repaired in one way or another. The refrigerator needed the most extensive repair after 3 years but the double ovens have really angered me about Whirlpool and Kitchen Aid.

In 2019, I decided to self clean my oven for the first time. You see, I was so excited about the blue inside of the oven I was diligent in wiping it clean after each use so the need for the self cleaning aspect of the oven didnt come for some time.

Well, guess what, the self cleaning feature shut the whole oven down. I called KA customer service and the man who spoke with me accused me of having too dirty of an oven so the internal temperature hit the point where the safety feature of the device kicked in and shut it down.

ARe you kidding me? #1 my oven was not that dirty

#2 its supposed to be a self cleaning oven

#3 if the oven is too dirty, why is the temperature not maxed to a point and then what ever gets clean in the oven, gets clean. The chip should not allow the temperature to go beyond a certain level.

So I had it repaired. The man who repaired my oven said, Lady, this happens a lot so I would recommend the next time you self clean your oven, dont do it near a holiday. ????

In early 2021, I decided to try to self clean the oven again.

Guess what I did? I videoed the oven prior to hitting self clean and to my surprise, the oven shut down again.

Are you kidding me?

Had to have it repaired again.

I am getting the impressing I bought a self cleaning oven that can not be self cleaned for $4K. What a scam.

Then on Christmas evening, while cooking a filet, my double ovens kicked the bucket. So I have spent $4k for 4 years of use. I was asked if I bought the $300 warranty and I laughed.

Why would i think that an oven would cost me $1K per year and oh by the way need another $359 for a warranty. YIKES.

I have decided to go away from Whirlpool products all together. the customer service team in all instances could care less including the managers who got on the phone with me. Kitchen Aid products are NOT cheap but yet, they are.

Whirlpool, you should be ashamed to put your name on this type of product and customer service team you have employed.

All customer service did was research as to whether there was a recall on this product.

NO there was no recall, but have you ever heard of a LEMON?

I plan to write the CEO of Whirlpool to assert my disgust. If they are a strong US company they should care about the relationship they have with their customers.

I will not buy JEnn Air etc.

Yes I purchased another vendors double oven at $5000 and it is being installed soon.

If you are from Whirlpool, please read this and at the very least pretend that you give a crap about your products and the customers you have taken for granted.

Preferred solution: I would have hoped that Kitchen Aid would have extended to me a new double oven. This is obviously a LEMON. I would also like an apology although I am unsure who could provide me one that would resonate sincerity at this point.

Complaint about refrigerator lights and ice maker

I spent over $1000.00 on service for a 4 year old refrigerator . Bad fan motor , bad ice maker , Bad led lights , and replacement of a led board . You guys will not compensate me for any of the work . Therefore I will never purchase a Kitchen-Aid appliance again and I will make sure that everyone I know will know my experience that I had with you . Very pissed off .

They will not sell Stand mixer Food Grade Grease

The grease in my 2 YEAR OLD bowl lift kitchenaid stand mixer started to break down and oil started to leak out of it. I contacted Kitchenaid for replacement grease and was told that they only sold the grease to repairers and that I would have to take it to get repaired. It is a simple operation to remove top of unit, get all the grease out and repack it. Not a rocket science job. It is on You Tube. I contacted Kitchenaid in England and they are sending me the grease. You get better service from overseas than you do in Australia. Nearly all of my kitchenaid attachements I have bought overseas. It is cheaper and including postage beats the prices they charge in Australia.

Never have parts in stock

We bought an induction cooktop 3 years ago. paid top dollars for it. But in the last 3 years its gone bad thrice already. We cant cook for months because the part that needs to be put in is never in stock and takes 2-3 months to come in. We have warranty on the cooktop and still we have to pay for part installation every time. This time after we paid $200 the tech opened the cooktop up only to find out that kitchen aid sent a refrigerator part in the box. So now we have to wait another 2 months because obviously the cooktop part is not in stock. To top it all theyve been sending us emails to extend the warranty. Extend this *** cooktop that only works for 3 months out of the year

I did a kitchen remodel and purchased all KA appliances. Each one has had a problem. Been waiting 3 months for the control panel for my $2150 range and have not had an oven. Purchased an extended warranty from the store but the part isnt available. KA customer service said their warranty is 1 year and nothing they can do. So they do not stand behind their products. Do not waste your hard earned money. Thoroughly disgusted.
